An amalgam of  “all bloods” in one environment. The inevitable intermixing of native peoples, whites and others in a Peru that was until recently dramatically divided, yet today flows ahead with the vigorous energy of a mixed race that covers almost an entire continent, pushing Peru to look at itself, to tear off the blindfold and set off like a modern-day, liberated Oedipus.

Roxana loved a Cristian whose soul was borrowed from someone else, and she sought God in an effort to find comfort, but it was Cyrano who kept her alive, almost happy, with his fidelity and protection. Residents of Recoleta for 40 years, two women share secrets, stories and the same neighborhood, a place filled with details and traces that evince the passage of time. Those fragments, moving between reality and fiction, are what in the end build a collective identity.

Alicia waits for her son, who is arriving from New York, where he has gone to school on a scholarship. She plans to go live with him, but Gabriel has other ideas. He is brimming with projects, enthusiastic about living and working in his own country, Uruguay, which time and distance have enhanced in his eyes. Both are searching for a “wonderland” that seems to drift farther and farther away.

A program of baroque musical pieces related to the discovery, exploration and colonization of Florida, the Gulf of Mexico and the mythical island of Bimini. Many such enterprises were Spanish and launched from the Iberian peninsula or its territories in the New World, such as New Spain (Mexico) and Cuba. Others came from France, England or the newly liberated United States of America.

The story of ten prisoners being held in Block 9, where 111 others were killed by authorities. The Carandiru massacre is known as the largest ever to take place in the Brazilian prison system. The play is a not a realistic depiction of the massacre and focuses on the life of marginal inmates. (Total nudity andstrong language; not appropriate for children)

A comedy about diversity, a difficult knot to unravel. At a fast pace, the actors discuss the play's tangled plot even as they act it out. The 12 characters operate the lighting, direct the musicians and move the action along. Nevertheless, the story's denouement will be up to the audience.

A tribute to García-Lorca, one of the greatest playwrights in the Spanish language, a tribute to the man and his convictions. “Marica” is a pejorative term that beyond describing a sexual orientation, humiliates men. But a man cannot be humiliated by a word. If he faces the verbal abuse with dignity, the insult exalts and ennobles him.
